Broadcast + Event Graphics

We were commissioned to develop and brand the 2011 relaunch of the MasterCard Laurence Olivier Awards. Working closely with the in-house design team at AKA Promotions to establish a strong continuity of branding throughout the ceremony. Using elements from the printed materials, we created, animated and edited 22 nomination packages, supporting lower thirds, winner chroma plates and interstitial graphics.

We also had to take into consideration the other screens which were designed into the set. This was a multi-screen event so the graphics were carefully designed to seamlessly blend the main nomination content across the other screens. With animating curtains, looped screens, transitions and background graphics for performances and backdrops. These screens also animated independently, depending on the content and setup.

We were subsequently commissioned for the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 ceremonies. These awards were also broadcast live on ITV so additional supporting graphics were created.
